Day 18 – Be Courageous

Day 18 - Be Courageous

“I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.” Nelson Mandela

There is a great spirit of courage that is already resident within the heart of every soul.

You were born to live and create a life of greatness, not to shrink and play small. Courage and self-belief are the twin pillars of self-worth and self-efficacy that have the potential to set you free, but first you must be willing to leave the comfort of zone.

Every great journey and adventure always begins with the first step. There is a moment of truth within every life experience where the initiate and the seeker must leave the comfort of what is known, in order to experience the new and the exciting. Your heart at its core dwells to be free to experience all that it can be, and in these moments of quite reflection and residency it will call you to step beyond what you choose to consider safe, known and secure, and instead find the courage to take the next step into what is possible for your life.

Boldness is the precursor of all great accomplishment and achievement.

So, as you consider your journey into the 21 Day Soul Cleanse, it is now time to ask yourself and more pertinent, and deeper question. What would I love to do, create or experience, if there were no fear or limitation?

On this journey, we are being reminded that courage is not the absence of fear, but is really our response in the knowing that we will always feel some form of fear, as long as we are continuing to grow, expand and evolve. Therefore, it is in the moments of decision in the face of fear, when we are on the threshold of breaking into the new, the unknown and the exciting that we must choose boldness, courage and faith, instead of feeding the fear at the door.

All it takes to create a masterful life of greatness is to simply embrace small acts of courage each and every day, knowing that each inspired act of courage is compounding, it builds, grows and nurtures our self-esteem, makes us feel good about ourselves, and sends a resounding message to the universe that we are ready to live courageously on purpose.

So be brave. Be confident. Be bold. Be courageous.

The Practice

So, your quest today is simply to bring to mind your soul’s intention from earlier in this week. To enliven it, and bring it to life by feeling it fully and completely, with all your heart, breath and emotion.

And then simply ask, ‘what act of boldness can I embrace today that would help me grow closer to my goal, dream or intention?’

Spend some time in reflection, silence and stillness and allow your soul to speak, guide and compel you. Know that when you are inspired through love that you open the door for your infinite self to nurture, guide and elevate you into your highest good.

Then take one small inspired action of courage towards your draw intention and dreams today.

The Affirmation

I am a light for the world, and I now choose to embrace and behold the courage, boldness and confidence of my true authentic nature.

The Question

What act of boldness can I embrace today that would help me grow closer to my goal, dream or intention?

The Thought

Without risk there is no courage. Without fear there are no heroes. Without hope there is no faith.
